The transportation system is made up of different types of roads that serve different functions, and collector roads are important links that help people move around more efficiently. As the region continues to grow, it is important that these critical connection routes be part of reducing / minimizing long term traffic congestion. With this in mind, an analysis of the collector street network has been completed to note existing deficiencies as well as identify locations where new links should be positioned as future development occurs.
