SC 160 Interchange Reconfiguration

Project Update

If you use Exit 85 in Fort Mill, you are aware that this interchange is reaching maximum roadway capacity resulting in poor traffic flow and increased traffic congestion.

To accommodate existing and future traffic volumes, the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is currently evaluating alternatives to improve traffic operations at the Exit 85 Interchange and along the SC 160 Corridor. The SC 160 / I-77 Interchange Reconfiguration Project will modify the Exit 85 Interchange to increase roadway capacity, improve operational efficiency, reduce traffic congestion, and enhance safety.

For regularly updated information about the project, please visit our project website at www.SC160Project.com.
